So last night when I was at my new home Stormrage, I happened to be in SW for some training, when I was reading trade chat. And the best ever guild name came up...

The Guild lol So I had to give it the proper shout out in SW, and got a very nice thank you from the GM.. :)

So what's the best or funniest guild name you've come across in trade chat..

Oh I do have one ranty thing, I went back to my old server where my DK is to level her cooking (might as well)and talk to one of my friends. When I got a PM from one of my missing in action GL who had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to run Naxx with him on his level 80 hunter alt. I told him no, I'm busy working on a project. I can't believe the nerve of some people, you go play the other side for almost a month, yes I checked yesterday and it was 22 days since their last log in, and you expect me to run Naxx with you?

Okay end rant....

My husband bought 45 yards of this fabric. When I asked why he said "I got it all for 6.00!" It was *his* great thrift store find.

What the hell he expected me to do with it, even he doesn't know. That added to 20 yards of crushed black velvet he wanted in our bedroom (and I vetoed), he's deserving a little disturbance in *his life*.


So I bought these two pictures and stuffed them in the bathroom so creepy little girls can stare at him while he pees. He's definitely disturbed.

And lucky I'm not making him clothes out of all that fabric.

So it's Thanksgiving, and I'm in your box office, selling you tickets. I'm in a pretty good mood, getting to chat with one of my favorite coworkers, and everyone's been fairly mellow and pleasant up to this point.

Until this guy comes up. Let me say, before I start, that I have a lisp. It's not super bad and I'm not unintelligible, but it's there.

Guy comes up to get tickets.

Me: ...Okay, for two tickets it'll be sixteen dollars!

Guy: How much?

Me: Sixteen dollars! *cheerful happy smiley yay*

Guy: *looking in his wallet* Thikthteen dollarth. *smirksmirk*


...excuse me what.

I was only as polite as strictly necessary through the rest of the transaction, and then cursed him when all the other customers were gone. I hope he gets hit in the face with a football and has a lisp from them on. :| But I mean SERIOUSLY, who over the age of nine does that?!

Friday wasn't Black Friday around here, but it was Eid, which, for where I work, is the busiest day of the year. Relevant part is, this meant I closed yesterday and opened today, which resulted in less than five hours sleep between shifts and a very rambly post. So anyway.

Today we had exciting times. A customer lost her purse, and the managers and I searched the lobby for it (to the point of going through the bins - they made me do that bit). After about half an hour of that, another customer handed the purse in, Joy! But, when they came to check the purse, apparently a hundred quid was missing. The customer started crying, and the manager had to run down the road and get the other one to come back. At this point, I was willing to give the second customer the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someone else had stolen the money and then just ditched the purse, and she'd handed it in innocently. Then she ran outside and drove away while we were waiting for the police to arrive, so...yeah.

Both customers had family with them. Looking back, it seems weird that the customer was initially walking away from the carpark, when she first left, and then, when she escaped, drove away in a car. I'm thinking maybe the other lady with her - her sister, I think - must have called a friend or something. The question still remains though, why bring the purse back? Maybe she didn't realise the owner was still there, and thought she'd be long gone before it was claimed.

Is there a mod/addon or upto date list kept for players that should be avoided that you can view by realm? I'm very curious

Yesterday I got an itch to redo my UI, and for the most part, I like it... but. There are a lot of issues that I'm trying to learn how to fix. Help me?

For reference - the major UI addons being used are: Pitbull, Dominos, Quartz, Prat, kgPanels. These are all the same ones I used before, except for dominos which is replacing bartender. But the settings are different, and I'm trying to figure out how to make them closer to what I'm used to...

Thanks for any help you can give me. This UI seems to be a lot more complicated than the first one I got working.

Edit: And I forgot to ask - somehow my window that I use to need or greed loot is gone. :( Any idea what the deal is there?

I have never been one for complaining, but last night was ridiculous.

For weeks I'd been in the not so good second heroic toc 10 (doing 25% dps on beasts and watching everyone fail hard on simple issues), but last night I'd had enough and bitched until I got into the first group.

Also quite pleased cause the first group had creme de la creme of our guild, and I held my own and surpassed them in some fights.

Thank GOODNESS for that cause we got A Tribute To Mad Skill :D

Only crappy part of all this is a good friend of mine bowed out to let me in the group, despite pointing out to GL and others that I'd never been past the beasts and it'd be a real officer/gl thing to do to switch me in. But said friend is getting a delicious chocolate cake for being so nice.

Also, not sure if this would have happened if I wasn't a girl...

Grats to everyone who has it already, and what are you guys working on afterwards? I'm thinking ulduar might get a visit.

The title is misleading. I'm not talking about the achievement, though there probably should be a feat of strength for something like this.

You know you play far too much WoW when your character screen looks like this:

The good thing about this is that now all of my characters are in Outland. The bad news is that they're in desperate need of a tune up. Some characters, like my rogue, have suddenly become super squishy upon entering Outland. Others have surprised me and have become really resilient, such as my warrior and shaman.

This is where I turn to you, ladies and lurking gents. I have guides to help out, but I also have questions that I can't seem to find concrete answers for. Also any general leveling/instance/pvp advice for any of the classes, aside from mage and hunter since they're my 80s, would be wonderful. :)

Below is a list of my alts, their armories, the links I've used so far to help them level, and a little picture to put a face to their names (because with that many A names they're bound to get mixed up).

So now I'm curious, I want to see your character screen(s). How long have you been playing? How long did it take you to get your characters to where they're at now? Did you get any help along the way such as RAF, Heirloom gear, and AV, or did you do it the old school way?

For me my hunter was the only toon untouched with XP bonuses outside of rested XP. Everyone single other toon was part of RAF and had at least one piece of heirloom gear to work with. The newer 60s (Warrior, Shaman, Rogue, Druid) all also played so much AV that they have anywhere from 100-1000 kills.

so i have a potentially stupid question. is there a way to rename a guild? i don't want to go thru the process of forming a guild all over specially since i've put the money into getting three tabs.

I come to you ladies once again with another (probably) dumb question.

Is it possible to downgrade your game account? I'm trying to send a scroll of resurrection to my sister but it says accounts already upgraded to Lich King aren't able to do it. Is there a way to unlink the Lich King expansion from her account so she only has Burning Crusade?

Also, my sexy, sexy phlegm ("Yeah... I'm reporting live from my death bed..."), brought in loud and clear courtesy of my new headset. Topic: half New Moon and half Crazy Fans, with a substantial segment on the Dollhouse cancellation up front (aw, hell, I just heard myself cough in the background).

Hello ladies,

I was just wondering if any of you know when the first edition of the magazine is supposed to be released. I subscribed to it a while ago and I rember it saying it would be arriving between 8 or 10 weeks. Now I can't find that form any more, so I am not sure when the magazine should be arriving at my house.

I share a mailbox with all my other neighbours in my flat and I know some are a bit ... well... let's just call them little thieves when it comes to magazines and all. I've tried looking on the website of the magazine, but I only saw a 'subscribe' link and nothing else that could be useful.

This is a total wtf. So I work audit again. I've seen the bizarre of the bizarre through out the 90's and a lot of the same stuff since I came back to it. I mean cross-dressers, drunks, people trying to sell me their first born to get a fix, and so on and so fourth.

But last night still has me scratching my head. It was about 4 in the morning and a guy comes in wearing track pants and a very thin sweat shirt. He looks very cold his noise was very red, and he came to the desk told me he wasn't staying and if he could use the restroom. I said sure pointed it out to him he went and left. Not a thing strange about it.

I decided to go out and smoke, I get out there and I see him kind of wandering around near the entrance to the hotel. He starts to walk back into the lot. Well he gets down to the first row of cars and starts to look inside the windows of the cars. So at this point I'm like oh great he's a smash & grabber just what I need. So I go back inside call the PD and head back out. Now I was only inside for like a minute at most to make the call. The PD arrived maybe at most 3 mins later. The way our property is laid out he was walking directly towards the lake the only place to go was the boat dock. The cops drove the entire property I checked all the outside doors all locked. The guy just flat out vanished into thin air in 4 mins.

I still have no clue were he could have went.
