This is my lovely little kitty, Azrael. Notice the white fur. Now imagine the softest thing you have ever felt. Azrael feels just like that. It's hard to tell from this picture, but her fur is very fine and thick. One of the best things is to rub her fuzzy little belly and have her curl into a ball around my hand. She also loves to snuggle under the covers with me or to perch on my chest or side when I sleep. Sounds like sweetness and light and perfection, right?
Not quite. Her fine white hairs seem to magically find themselves lodged in my eyes. Try as I might, I sometimes just can't find the cause of the horrible nuisance in my eye. Often times the only sign of it is a tiny white thread caught in my lashes. I pull on it and half an inch unspools from my eyeball.
And just try getting out of the house in a flawless black garment. It can't be done! So I get to work and stare down at myself in dismay. Nothing to do but sigh and start pulling off the fur with scotch tape.
